Culminating Task Algebra 1 Unit 3
    Hi Rosemon,
As you noted, compound inequalities are not specifically mentioned in the standards. Therefore, it would be a district/classroom decision as whether to expand the study of inequalities to include these more involved situations (developing and/or statements dependent upon inequality symbol). However, it is expected that students could express the domain and range of a function in either interval or inequality notation (which would call for basic understanding of a compound inequality).

    Frameworks for Geometry
    Hi dgatlin82,

The GPB two hour course overviews and the unit-by-unit webinars were resources produced in 2012-2013 to assist districts with the implementation of the CCGPS. With the the transition to the GSE in 2015-2016 (which included the addition of the Algebra I - Geometry - Algebra II sequence) these resources were no longer 100% aligned and therefore not applicable to the GSE courses. These links should not have been included in the Geometry Unit 1 Framework and I will get them removed as soon as possible; sorry about that and thank you for bringing this to our attention. Because educators may still find some portions of the CCGPS resources useful, all CCGPS resources have been archived and can be found on the course pages of this wiki.

Regarding your question about rotations in Geometry, it is expected that students rotate a figure about any given point, not just the origin.

    Hope this helps,
    Brooke

    Frameworks for Geometry
Unit 1 Page 3 has incorrect/non working links. The 2 hour course overview webinar is actually on Coordinate Algebra instead of Geometry and the unit by unit link takes you to nothing! Please fix so we have all the correct information. Also, does anyone know if the rotations in Unit 1 require rotations about the origin and rotations about a fixed point? Need clarification on these standards.

    Sample work of College Readiness
This is my first year teaching College Readiness Mathematics and I need help. Is there an answer key to the task some where or samples of student work?
